Jared Colston

Jared Colston is a second year Ph.D. student in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is passionate about studying equity in access to higher education and how education plays a role in economic and social mobility, as well as how overall educational attainment impacts workforce and economic development and public welfare. His research focuses on state-level policies surrounding “brain drain”, labor market development, and the geography of opportunity.
